Steph, We are having a Valentine Banquet at my church and I am in charge of doing a photo booth. The lights in the Fellowship Hall are dome, flourescent lights like you find in a school gym. My backdrop will consist of a white lattice that I am considering draping with a black sheet. I haven't quite decided on this yet. Anyway, my question is what settings do you recommend? I'm sure I will need to custom set my white balance but I have no idea about the fstop and shutter speed. Stupid question, should I use my flash? I intend to be 8 feet away from my subject.
A weekly photography lesson for those wanting to learn more about photography, composition, manual settings, anything to do with capturing a creatively correct exposure.
We'll be focusing on the Canon Digital Rebel XT also known as the 350d but any other camera types are more than welcome to join in. The more the merrier!

How about tips on organizing and workflow? It's easy to get lost in all the digital photos we all take. --just a thought!
dude, we need more learning stuff. :-) pretty please.
I'm so glad I found your site! I can't believe you do what you do to help other Digi Rebel owners - but thanks!
I hope you come back to us!
Hi!
I bookmarked this page after your first post. I got the link from the 350d yahoo group.
Just wanted to thank you for your posts. They are really very helpful!
